Basil Oil 13ml Sunspirit
Basil is a stimulating oil that promotes endurance, concentration and enthusiasm. It is highly recommended for those who are tired and overworked mentally, especially students and office workers - vaporisation and inhalation are most beneficial. Basil is also beneficial for headaches and head colds, blended with a carrier oil it can be used to massage the temples, forehead and neck. The same blend can be used to massage the stomach and abdomen in for those with digestive complaints as it is also an excellent digestive tonic.
Aroma: sharp, warm, peppery, aniseed-like, it is considered a top note.
Blends well with: bergamot, black pepper, cedarwood, clary sage, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, juniper, lemon, niaouli, orange, palmarosa, rosemary, sage, thyme.
Caution: this oil is not to be used in pregnancy and may irritate sensitive skin if used undiluted. Do not take internally. Essential oils should always be blended with a base oil (such as sweet almond oil) before being applied to the body.
